A quick word about the date

I wanted to say a quick word about 9-11. More specifically about a haiku I wrote a few weeks ago that featured New York in the photo.

I will not do this
not what you are expecting
She is beautiful, still

My point in this haiku was that, I wouldn't write about remembering "that fateful day". I wont write an entry mourning for how the skyline is different without the twin towers and I wont preach about America.

All I wanted to say was that New York is still New York. Nothing will change that. She's still beautiful.
